Beach Bounty Microplastics is a federally registered 501(c)(3) Public Charity/Nonprofit Corporation based out of Honolulu, Hawaii. Comprised of a small team of local environmental scientists, volunteers, and environmentally minded citizens, our mission is to create a sustainable, reliable system to solve the ongoing issue of microplastic and small plastic pollution washing ashore on the beaches of Oahu.
BBM starts first and foremost with the communities that live in and around beaches impacted by microplastic accumulation.
BBM is developing relationships with local businesses in Kailua, Kaneohe, and Waimanalo, the Hawaii Pacific University (HPU), the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Hawaii state government, US Military installations and personnel, local K-12 schools, and other nonprofits.
BBM is also continuously investigating opportunities and relationships nationwide - ranging from federal, private and regional grant-funding initiatives, microplastic-cleaning-technology startups, and similarly impacted coastal sites in other parts of the United States and its territories.

BBM is an IRS registered 501(c)(3) Public Charity - allowing BBM donors to benefit from charitable donation related federal tax-deductions and demonstrating our status as an organization you can trust.

BBM, through our operations and relationships, support environmental scientific research and is pursuing partnerships with academic institutions and independent researchers to provide access to a strong base of material samples that can aid in microplastic and plastic repurposing research investigations.
