Beach Bounty Microplastics Incorporated is a federally registered 501(c)(3) Public Charity/Nonprofit Corporation based out of Honolulu, Hawaii. Comprised of a small team of local environmental scientists, and environmentally-minded management and administrative staff, our mission is to help in managing the ongoing issues of microplastic contamination washing ashore on the beaches of Oahu.
BBM starts first and foremost with the communities that live in and around beaches impacted by microplastic accumulation.
BBM is pursuing partnerships with local businesses in Kailua and Waimanalo, the University of Hawaii Manoa, various offices of the Hawaii state government, local DOD installations/authorities, and other locally based and locally active nonprofits.
BBM is also continuously investigating opportunities and partners nationwide - ranging from federal, private and regional grant-funding initiatives, microplastic-cleaning-technology startups, and similarly impacted coastal sites in other parts of the United States and its territories.

BBM is an IRS registered 501(c)(3) Public Charity - allowing BBM donors to benefit from charitable donation related federal tax-deductions, and demonstrating our status as an organization you can trust.

BBM strongly supports environmental research, and is pursuing partnerships with academic institutions and independent researchers to provide access to a strong base of citizen-science derived material samples that can aid in microplastic research investigations.
